2. Quotations & Estimates

Any quotation or estimate provided by Daw Al Jabal Technical Services is based on the information, drawings, measurements, site conditions, and requirements available at the time of preparation.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

Quotations are valid only for the period mentioned in the quotation.
Additional or modified works may result in additional charges.
Material prices and availability may change before confirmation or purchase.
Final quantities may be adjusted following site measurement or inspection.
Work not specifically included in the approved quotation is considered outside the agreed scope.

A project will be considered confirmed once the applicable quotation or agreement has been approved and any required advance payment has been received.

3. Payments

Payment terms are determined separately for each project and will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or contract.

Where milestone or progress payments apply, payments must be made according to the agreed project schedule.

Delays in payments may result in the suspension, rescheduling, or extension of the work programme.

Applicable taxes, including VAT, will be charged where required under UAE law.

4. Project Timelines

Any completion period or project schedule provided is based on expected working conditions and availability at the time of confirmation.

Project timelines may be affected by circumstances including:

Client-requested changes or additional works
Delayed approvals or selections
Material availability or delivery delays
Building or community permissions
Authority approvals or inspections
Site access restrictions
Third-party contractors
Unforeseen site conditions
Events beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to complete works within the agreed schedule but cannot guarantee timelines affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information and timely decisions necessary for the execution of works.

Where applicable, clients must provide reasonable access to the property and ensure that required selections, approvals, permissions, or client-supplied materials are provided on time.

Delays caused by missing information, access, approvals, selections, or client-supplied items may affect the project schedule.

6. Materials & Product Selection

Materials supplied by us will be selected according to the approved quotation, specification, sample, or agreed requirements.

Natural materials, stone, marble, wood, tiles, paint, fabrics, and similar products may have reasonable variations in shade, pattern, texture, grain, or appearance.

Where materials, fixtures, appliances, sanitary ware, or other products are supplied directly by the client, Daw Al Jabal Technical Services is not responsible for manufacturing defects, product warranties, incorrect specifications, or delays associated with those products unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Variations & Additional Works

Any work requested outside the approved scope may be treated as a variation or additional work.

Where reasonably possible, the cost and effect on the project schedule will be communicated before additional work proceeds.

Emergency, concealed, or unforeseen conditions discovered during renovation may require additional work that could not reasonably have been identified before opening, demolition, or inspection.

8. Site Conditions

Renovation and maintenance works may reveal concealed conditions such as existing water leakage, damaged wiring, defective plumbing, structural issues, previous improper installations, hidden damage, or other conditions that were not visible during the initial inspection.

Such conditions may require additional assessment, work, materials, time, and cost.

9. Approvals & Building Requirements

Certain works may require approvals, NOCs, permits, inspections, access permissions, or compliance with building management, community, developer, consultant, or government authority requirements.

The responsibility and cost for obtaining such approvals will depend on the individual project agreement.

Work schedules may be adjusted according to permitted working hours, noisy-work restrictions, building regulations, inspections, or other applicable site requirements.

10. Warranty & Rectification

Any warranty applicable to our workmanship or supplied products will be subject to the terms stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, contract, or warranty documentation.

Warranty coverage does not normally include damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, third-party modifications, lack of maintenance, external damage, client-supplied defective products, or circumstances outside our control.

Manufacturer warranties for equipment and products are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.
